Review Week

This week we will be reviewing the Letters Q, D O and the numbers 6, 7,8.
We will be working on some Easter Crafts and learning about the meaning of Easter.
We will be making a collage of things that start with Q, D, O and the numbers  6, 7, and 8.
Remember that Pizza Fundraiser ends on Thursday and every child who sells 5 pizza's gets a special treat from Ms. Nicki.

Letter Q

The letter Q is always a challenge to be creative with, so with that being said, we will be painting with Q-tips and making q-tip art work and testing out our patterning skills by making a quilt with tissue paper.

Continue to practice at home writing your child's name, and March tuition is now due.
PLEASE SEND IN A PICTURE OF YOUR CHILD TO SCHOOL ON TUESDAY We will be making something to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday, which was Saturday.
WEDNESDAY of this week allow your child to wear something WACKY in honor of Dr. Seuss, we will be reading WACKY WEDNESDAY.

Our Bible Verse: Obey your leaders

We will be practice cutting with scissors and making octopuses tasting oranges and orange juice with Ms Crystals class on Thursday and making a chart which is sweeter orange juice or oranges and coloring in our journals which one was our favorite.
We will be practicing counting bears and sorting and practice writing their names.  Please continue to practice this at home.

Review Week

This week we will be reviewing the letters: P B R
The numbers 3 4 5

We will be making rockets and gluing buttons on letter B's and making either a pig or a piano for the letter P
We will be playing candy land and practicing our lacing.  We will be taking play dough and molding them into our letters of the week on a sheet with each letter.

Continue to let your child practice writing his her her name on the homework sheet.

Please to continue to send in box tops for education along with labels for education.
They can be found on many of our every day food items like gold fish, campbell soups, fruit snacks general mills cereals.

Thank You so much to all the parents who helped out with our Valentines Day Party, because of your help the kids had an awesome time and Caleb summed it up the best way a 4 yr old could:  That was the best day ever Mrs Tracy I had so much fun!! 

The letter R

This week we are working on the letter

The nursery Rhyme Rub a Dub Dub Three Men in a Tub

We will be learning our bible verse: Rejoice in the Lord always, I will say it again Rejoice!
We will be using shaving cream to practice making our letter R and our numbers 1 through 5.
We will be making a Giant Rainbow by laying a piece of paper on the floor and using tissue paper and gluing  in the colors.
We will be decorating Valentines  Day bags for our Valentines Day Party which will be held on Feb 14, at 10:30 to 11:30 in the gym.  We still need lots of items and volunteers for party.  Please send in your child's valentines day cards to be handed out during the party. Please no names on the envelopes as this will make it easier on the child and volunteer to help hand out.

We will be making rainmakers this week!!

If you haven't filled out your registration information for next year , you still have time to do so.  But please turn in no later than Feb 28th

Last week we worked on the letter L and made Lollipops and Lions and played in shaving cream and practiced writing the number 1.  We reviewed all our letters and sounds and then we reviewed the days of creation.

This week we will be talking about the letter T and  and the number 2.
We will be making a class train and the letter T teacups and teabags.

Starting this week you will find in your Home For Your Heart Binder a dry erase marker and a sheet of paper in a  wipe off page protector, please have your child practice writing his or her name on the page protector and bring it to school so Ms Nancy and I may review it daily.

I will be sending home a new Star Student List the first week of February, along with Valentines Day Party information and a class list.
