Review Week

It is time for our first review week!  So we will be reviewing the letters A, V and W.  The numbers 1, 2, 3 and introducing the number 4. As well as our shape the circle and triangle.
We will be making an aquarium by using masking tape and making a rectangle with it and then using blue tissue paper as the water and then decorating our fish by using the colors, purple, pink and white.
We will be making a W watermelon from a red and green W and using a q tip for the seeds.
We will be practing our scissor skills by cutting and snipping  with playdough, yarn,paper.  ( please practice at home too)
 We will be using the dry erase boards and practice writing the letter V.
We will also be practicing our eye hand coordination by fishing in the classroom.

We will be making a circle and triangle clown to review our shapes.

We have been doing some very simple math skills adding and subtracting using our number of the week.





In chapel this week we will be learning about Day 4. God said "Let there be, the sun, moon and stars"



Our Star student this week is: Brycen, please bring snacks from the approved snack list and a show and tell on Thursday!! 


Its Book Fair Time!!!! So come join us before and after school and get a start on the Christmas shopping!!!  Will be here all week!

THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 17 is our FALL FAMILY PICNIC 
{rain or shine}  at 11 am.  Come early and find the perfect spot for your blankets and bring your pennies so we can fill our bucket for Luke's Heart.  {all the monies are going to Luke Chapman who is on the national heart transplant list}
We will meet you on the lawn!!! This is for ALL students, so please pack lunches for all students. Half Day students will be dismissed from the picnic.
There will be a fire truck, ambulance and Kono ice and lots of Home For Your Heart Love to go around!! So bring those pennies and dollars!!

Picture Day is September 22, so wear your smiles!!
Mission Moment is October 25 more information to follow.
