Last blog before Christmas

Dear Parents,

Kerri and I would like to extend to you all a very merry Christmas season, and happy birthday wishes to Jesus!

Just a few things:

I will be creating a new closed group on facebook some time during the Christmas break that is now where you will find our blog.  We are growing by leaps and bounds and this will make it easier for parents to find our class.
Please watch for an invite from me to join the group.

Tuesday and Wednesday (16th and 17th) is our Polar Express day!
Please allow your child to wear his or her pajamas. Please wear sneakers as we may be going across the street to practice for our program. Weather permitted.  NO Slippers!!  We will be serving chocolate milk and popcorn and chocolate milk and chip ahoy cookies with icing and making reindeer food during the movie.

Please join us on Thursday Dec 18, at 10:30 am at  Main Campus for our Christmas Program.  School is half day for ALL students.   Your child may wear his or her Christmas finest!

We also have a new telephone number:
612-0532

This week is the letter T

Kerri and I hope that everyone had a wonderfully blessed Thanksgiving filled with turkey and stuffing and lots of smiles and laughter.

With the coming weeks we will be extremely busy decorating, wrapping, singing and learning!!
Create and make a Christmas Tree is due by Dec. 9th.
Be creative and all trees will be on display for all to see on the table by our room.
In Chapel this week we will be talking about the angels that announce the birth of Jesus.  Our bible verse is: A savior has been born to you...Glory to God in the  highest. Luke 2:11-14

We will be learning about the letter T and the oval.
Our star student this week is: Nolan, please bring enough snacks for 16 students. Please allow your child to bring a show and tell every day. And use the approved snack list.

Our elf on the shelf will be arriving this week in our room, which is always an exciting time.   We will be making ornaments for our class tree, and will be talking about the significance of why the candy cane is red and white in the weeks to come.  We will be making shepherds and angels this week.  We will be hard at work making Christmas presents for mom and dad. {we do apologize in advance for the green paint that we might not be able to get it all off}
Please remember that Dec 4th is a half day for ALL students.
Feed my Starving Children will be setting up in the gym.
All tuition is due at this time.

Kerri and I would like to welcome a new student and his family to our crazy, wonderful, joyful classroom!  WELCOME COLTON!!
