Letter J

We have been talking about Mary and Joseph and baby Jesus, and learned that they traveled very far and no one at the inns had room for the weary travelers.  Until a kind inn keeper said that they could rest in the manger.  That night baby Jesus was born and that the star of Bethlehem shone very bright.  Three wise men came bearing gifts.

It is fitting that our letter this week is: J
We will be making a manger and baby Jesus with Mary and Joseph and the star of Bethlehem.

We will be finishing our angels and coloring the 12 days of Christmas and decorating a star for our Christmas tree.

We have an elf from the North Pole who is visiting our room.  The kids named him RuFu...  and he was reading and eating a snack and drinking a drink. He also was at the workbench fixing a bolt.

We will be using the letter J and putting baby Jesus in it.

and then we will be turning our J upside in the afternoon and turning it into a candy cane and reading the story The Legend of the Candy Cane.

We will be practicing our Christmas songs for our Christmas program on Dec.17th at 10:30 am at the main campus.

On the Tuesday the 15th of Dec is pajama day and watching Polar Express.

We need 2 gallons of chocolate milk and 2 bags of puffy popcorn if any one would like to volunteer to send to school. Which will be our snack while watching Polar Express.

Our Star Student is Owen, please bring a snack from the approved snack list and a show and tell on Thursday.

Please remember to return your report cards, we still have several out.

DEC 17th IS HALF DAY FOR ALL STUDENTS AND OUR CHRISTMAS PROGRAM STARTS AT 10:30 am at MAIN CAMPUS.

As always thank you for sharing your child with us as they learn and grow.
